Competitions - A spring day
A spring day - This could be a photo, painting or a drawing of your garden, birds, animals, or
even the countryside. You could interpret a spring day into a vase of flowers or
a small flower arrangement or even a pot of spring bulbs.
The photo no larger than 7x5, paintings and drawings no larger than A4. All
flowers to be seasonal.

Competitions - Easter
Your take on Easter, decorate an easter bonnet, decorate a hardboiled egg or
even (if you are artistic) decorate a real plain chocolate egg NOT SHOP
BOUGHT, (you could get your children or grandchildren involved in the egg
decorations and hat). Flower Arrangement or vase, it must be seasonal
and to represent easter IE: - daffodils, tulips, chocolate mini eggs etc
or it could be homemade easter cake, or biscuits.

For this competition it’s any fuchsia maximum 5” pot, a hanging pot maximum
8”, Geranium/Pelargonium and Begonias maximum 6” pot.
It could also include photos that you have taken in previous shows, max 7x5.

Competition - A Taste of Summer
For all the gardeners and vegetable growers amongst us this is a must.
A summer flower arrangement, it can be in a vase or any other form of
containment, the flowers to represent the title i.e.: - sunflowers, sweet peas or
even edible flowers and veg. It could also be of a small garden pot of plants.
It could be a plate, bowl or basket of home-grown vegetables or salads, please
NO shop bought veg or salad, or even something that you have baked that
tastes of summer.

Competitions - Autumn / Christmas
3 Stems of Chrysanthemums or dahlias. A homemade Christmas decoration,
this could also include homemade cakes or biscuits representing the title. Or it
could be a Christmas or autumn flower or foliage arrangement or vase. It could
also be a small outdoor garden pot that represents the above title.
Anybody that is entering cakes, pies or general baking could you please make
sure that there is a label to go with your bakes listing all ingredients just in case
anybody is a diabetic or has a nut allergy or an allergy to any of the ingredients
because whoever is the judge on the day may want to do a taste test.
